PATA, Pan African Technical Association, is an association of volunteers, supporters and friends who share a deep rooted interest in exposing, educating, and supporting the introduction and perpetuation of science and technology in the African American communities in the United States and African Communities in Arica.

First Fundraiser of 2012!

Yaw will give a report back on the Successful Education and Goodwill Mission to Ethiopia.

There will also be an auction of Rare Ethiopian Coins, Paper Money and Books and Currency from other African Countries

Who We Are

PAN AFRICAN TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION

The inception of the PAN AFRICAN TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION (PATA) organization was 1996.

PATA promotes the importance of math and science for the next generation of engineers and scientist for professional opportunities locally, as well as, to assist Mother Africa in the positive development of its People, Land and resources. In order to achieve this mission, PATA garners the generous talents of volunteer and financial resources and implements educational, scientific and technical projects and programs to promote awareness in the US and Africa.

PATA works in collaboration with individuals, business and governments of African countries to fulfill it’s mission. We hope that you will volunteer your talents and time or make a monetary donation so that PATA may provide expanded technical assistance to the African American and African communities.

PATA supporters, volunteers and friends are involved in community-based outreach activities.

-Establishes a networking base to connect personnel working technical projects to people and institutions which may provide assistance to ensure the success of their technical project

-PATA volunteers give lectures and presentations on science and technolgy to Elemenatary thru University level students

-Introduces various types of renewable technological energy concepts and their application in electrification of rural villages to community-based organizations.

-Assists organizations in developing business case and marketing strategies for their projects.

-Introduces inner city youth to science and technology.
