PATA is an association of volunteers, supporters and friends who share a deep rooted interest in exposing, educating, and supporting the introduction and perpetuation of science and technology in the African American communities in the United States and African Communities in Arica.  PATA promotes the importance of math and science for the next generation of engineers and scientist for professional opportunities locally, as well as, to assist Mother Africa in the positive development of its People, Land and resources. In order to achieve this mission, PATA garners the generous talents of volunteer and financial resources and implements educational, scientific and technical projects and programs to promote awareness in the US and Africa. PATA works in collaboration with individuals, business and governments of African countries to fulfill it’s mission. We hope that you will volunteer your talents and time or make a monetary donation so that PATA may provide expanded technical assistance to the African American and African communities. Who We Are The inception of the PAN AFRICAN TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION (PATA) organization was 1996.  PATA supporters, volunteers and friends are involved in community-based outreach activities.
